It's the loneliest feeling in the world  to find yourself standing up when everyone else is sitting down. To have everybody look at you and say "what's the matter with him?" Why has mankind had such a craving to be imposed upon? Why this lust after impossing creeds, deeds, buildings, laungage, and works of art ? The thing becomes an imposition and a weariness at last. Give us things that are alive and flexible which won't last too long and become an obstruction and weariness.

Clouds and darkness surround us, yet Heaven is just, and the day of triumph will surely come, when justice and truth will be vindicated.

There is little chance that meteorologists can solve the mysteries of weather until they gain an understanding of the mutual attraction of rain and weekends. Is this the life I chose? A shovel and a snow blower, shoveling and blowing snow off the driveway... My winter life in the Diaspora !!
